my mother is on the phone with a friend of hers in D.C., and the woman sort of gigglingly tells my mother that she's sitting next to a four-star general. so, being the indignant and prideful woman that she is, mother demands that he be put on the line("because i'll never again have this opportunity"), grits her teeth, and asks
"why are you sending my kids into battle without the proper equipment?"
"..when the commander in chief tells you to go, you go."
"then why's the commander in chief sending my kids into battle without proper equipment?"

I saw a kid with the initials "AOL" monogrammed on his school bag.
I saw grafitti in English class- the word "penis" carved into a wall, but spelled P-E-A-N-I-S.
A new LAN center that a couple of my friends run, Dibbz(dot net), had their beta day and it was great.
(promptly after I had owned the kid to my left through the wall in the face, as you can deduce from his hand flailing about and the "wtf?!?!" look on his face) |

The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A death. What's that, a bonus? I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you live in an old age home. You get kicked out when you're too young, you get a gold watch, you go to work. You work forty years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement. You do drugs, alchohol, you party, you get ready for high school. You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little baby, you go back into the womb, you spend your last nine months warm, happy, and floating…you finish off as an orgasm.

I just spent the past week working at a camp for kids
4-12. As a counselor. It was like being to hell and
back, only the demons were cuter. Tomorrow's the last
day.
I have this one kid, Dylan, who has mood swings. He'll
punch me in the gut and then jump on my lap and hug
me. He pushed me down the stairs today. 6 years old.
Will. Infuckingsane. Punches, gives me high fives. 8.
Claire. I asked her if she wanted a hug today, she
looked at me like i was insane. She stared me down for
a good while and then said, "Uh..step away from the
black man." and walked away. I have no clue what the
hell happened, but it was the funniest thing I've ever
seen in my life. |
